Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is a group of about 300 islands deep in blues of the Bay of Bengal. Once being names as graveyards of martyrs (Kalapani), the place has transformed into one of the fascinating tourist spots. Out of 300 islands, only a few have population. The place is covered with thick forests and hilly and rocky regions. Port Blair is the capital of the place. Climate here is normally warm and humid. The rain falls all around the year. The place is a rich producer of rubber, coconut, tobacco, and coffee. The sandy beaches of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are brimmed with interesting marine life and gardens. It is really a nice place for eco-tourism. Barren Island, Corbyn’s Cove, Cutbert Bay Beach, Elephant Beach, Limestone Caves, Marina Park & Aquarium, Mount Harriet, Cellular Jail, Samudrika Marine Museum, Chatham Saw Mill, etc. are a few of the tourist destinations.
